ASPE papers comprise a series of policy-orientated position on primary education from the Association for the Study of Primary Education. The Association is a national body with regional branches throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, (an independent association exists in Scotland). It is dedicated to the study of primary education through open-minded and disinterested enquiry and through the collaboration of all those engaged professionally in primary education: teachers, advisers, inspectors, teacher educators, academics, researchers and others with an interest in primary education.
